Hello — what is this place for?

Welcome to Seasernet.

This is not a crowded “best 50 tools” list. No ads, no sponsored boxes, no sites that say “free” and then push software behind the download button. The aim is simple: keep in one place the tools that actually help someone who works with technology — free, or with an honestly free tier. Our own programs live here; so do other people’s.

What will you see?

Software and the web

Small desktop tools, Drupal and web work, things that simplify daily development. Programs we built — SASZip, SASMR, SASFontTR — sit under this roof too; you download them from the site, without surprise extras.

Music

DAWs, VSTs, samplers, mix and mastering tools that are free and actually usable. We will not recommend plugins that lock after a demo, or play three ads on every launch. We will write about what works, and say where it stops.

Graphic design

Fonts, vectors, pixels, color, export. We will be direct about fonts missing Turkish glyphs, “free packs” with unclear licenses, and bloated free stock sites.

Office and everyday work

Documents, spreadsheets, PDFs, bulk files, archives. The boring, necessary jobs nobody wants to open another subscription for.

From time to time we will also point to tools from elsewhere — “try this.” A recommendation is not an ad: we will say why we like it, what it is for, and where it falls short. If we do not like it, we will write that too.

In short: this is both the home of our own free tools, and a notebook in the same language. Drop by now and then; when something new happens, it will be here.
